Can I skip the Discovery & Analysis Process and immediately start grant writing?
No, the D&A process is essential to grant success. The D&A process allows us to determine if your organization is grant ready, as well as get to know your organization’s unique mission, needs, and story. We work with you to ensure your organization is in the best possible position to pursue and secure grants. This ensures that the time and money your organization spends on our services will yield the greatest possible return.
Can I pay you from grants secured?
No. Nonprofit Navigators is dedicated to working with integrity and pursuing excellence, and therefore follows industry standards diligently. According to the Colorado Nonprofit Association’s Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence “a fundraising professional should not accept compensation or enter into a contract that is based on a percentage of contributions.”
Is there a money back guarantee?
No, Nonprofit Navigators does not offer a money back guarantee. We are aware that most nonprofit organizations are working with limited resources and budget constraints. We work diligently to provide consulting and grant-writing services that will benefit your organization and support growth in many ways throughout the process of working together.
What is the average ROI for Nonprofit Navigators clients?
The average ROI ongoing grant writing clients experience is 621%.
Is Nonprofit Navigators a nonprofit organization?
No, Nonprofit Navigators is a business dedicated to helping nonprofits pursue their missions. We provide expertise and resources that help clients secure funding, grow their impact, and best serve their communities.
Can my nonprofit organization receive a discount for services?
No, we do not offer discounts. However, we will work with your organization to select a pricing package that meets your organization’s needs and budget. NN does offer a referral bonus of $100 for every client you refer to us!
Does Nonprofit Navigators accept clients from any location?
The majority of our current clients are based in Colorado and Alabama. However, we are currently accepting clients from anywhere within the United States. Aside from location, there are factors that determine if a potential client is a good fit, and we are committed to serving our clients well. We will work with you to ensure Nonprofit Navigators’ services and expertise will serve your organization well before taking you on as a client.
How long is a typical contract with Nonprofit Navigators?
That depends on the needs of your organization. As a testament to the quality of service provided by NN, some clients have essentially “graduated” from receiving our excellent services, in many cases moving onward in a better financial position than they started with. Services provided by Nonprofit Navigators have empowered clients to go from having no clear fund development strategy to not only maintaining a thriving board, but also hiring key leadership personnel, including in-house directors of development or staff grant writers. By equipping organizations with the tools needed to grow in organizational effectiveness, Nonprofit Navigators provides clients with real, tangible change that transforms their organizations and communities. Some clients hire us for short-term projects like Board Retreats or Staff Training or long-term projects like Strategic Planning or Board Recruitment and Development while other clients are happy to have NN provide their grant writing services indefinitely. No matter the stage of the journey, Nonprofit Navigators can help organizations navigate the road ahead.
How long does it take to start receiving money from grants once we become a client?
This depends on a variety of factors, including the grant readiness of your infrastructure and the responsiveness of your team in providing needed documents. The sooner your organization completes the steps for the D & A process, the sooner we can determine what needs to be done to get your organization ready to successfully apply for funding. Some organizations are ready to apply for grants right away and are even already receiving funding and just need an update to their grant language, while some need a significant amount of work before they are ready for the grant process. Additionally, once your organization applies for grants, every funder has their own timeline for reviewing applications and awarding funds.
